| September 7th What does this thing do? - Digital Cameras Made Easy. |
| Digital cameras come with many options; it's easy to get confused by them, even if you're a so-called "expert"! Bring your cameras, instruction books and any other gear you may have so that we can try to provide information on what's-what. |
| September 21st Nature Table. |
| A practical evening with lights, studio flash and table top arrangements. Bring your own “Natural History” subjects to photograph and, of course, don't forget your cameras. There'll be tuition and guidance available for those who require it. |

| Allan Green's inspiring audio visual presentations are legendary. This is bound to be one of those great evenings you'll never forget. |

| Always a popular and eagerly awaited event. Come and see how your three, open-subject images fare in a competition against those of other club members. Do remember that judges are an endangered species - be kind! |

| Come and see what aspects of photography interest and inspire some of your fellow club members. Expect a varied and stimulating evening of photography, fun and entertainment. |
| November 16th Print Competition. |
| Please remember the rules for mounting and presenting your colour & monochrome prints on 40 cm X 50 cm board. Mounting in this way has made our displays & competitions look better than ever before. |
| November 30th A Naturalist's Year |
| Terry Weston is a first-class wildlife photographer who has won many awards and had his work frequently published. After Terry visited us in 2006 there was an immediate request that we should ask him to return. So here he is, and
there's no doubt that we're in for another superb evening of pictures that will be an inspiration to all. |

| Frank Ash ARPS, is the Yorkshire Regional Organiser for the Royal Photographic Society and a dedicated photographer and teacher of many years. Expect an intriguing, thoughtful and very entertaining evening from an accomplished photographer. |
| February 1st Wildlife through the Lens. |
| The renowned father and son duo Lee Davis LRPS & Alan pay us a visit to entertain us with their wonderful images of wildlife captured through the lens. If you're not already a natural history enthusiast, you will be after this evening. |

| Discover how your remaining three images for projection fare against the tough competition put up by other club members. Remember that one of your images should be for the Yenric set subject; “Combustion”. This looks like a hot subject to deal with. |
| March 1st Mainly Mono. |
| Expect the feel-good factor when Tony & Marjorie Furmston FRPS make their practical demonstration of Photoshop look easy and fun. They are both highly regarded photographers and Photoshop wizards. Their interesting, often unconventional, humorous & instructive presentation should not be missed. |

| March 15th Portrait & Studio night. |
| Another chance to take great portraits this evening. We'll even provide you with a model for the occasion. All you have to remember is to bring your cameras and other photographic kit. |
| March 29th Portfolio Competition. |
| Your portfolio set of six mounted prints or six images for projection, all on a theme of your own choosing, will be judged this evening for photographic competence and overall coherence. Your set of pictures must have a unifying title and members are invited to include with their entry a short statement of how the images are linked. |
| April 26th Members' Evening. |
| An evening of discussion and demonstration on topics of photographic interest suggested or requested by the club members during the season. Another chance to learn and share photographic expertise. In order to allow members to prepare answers, examples and visual aids, questions should preferably be submitted to the committee at earlier meetings. |
| May 10th Members' Audio Visual Sequences. |
| After many expert shows, demonstrations and explanations, it's your turn again to present to the club your own AV sequences. The sequences may be slide-tape or digital and should be no longer than 6 minutes each. |
| May 24th Annual Print Competition. |
| Our end of season celebration of the best in the club. Even if you haven't entered anything in the competitions, come and see what makes Bishopthorpe Camera Club so special. |

| June 21st Annual General Meeting. |
| The Annual General Meeting and your chance to participate in how the club is run. Followed by a presentation of trophies & certificates. |
