Pat Reed will use her flower and landscape prints to show how she sees the world and explain her thinking behind the images.
Pat has sent us one of her favourites of 2015 for you to whet our appetites, in the form of the RAW file and the finished photo “Beside the Seaside”.
Pat says: “In the RAW converter I have adjusted the exposure and Black and White points, the shadows and highlights then Clarity (Negative ) and Vibrance. In Photoshop I have added a grey layer and blended this with the background layer. I have a Levels adjustment layer (1), then a Blur layer, also blended, a further Levels layer (2), finally a Curves layer. The “dreamy” impression has been helped by the negative clarity in the RAW converter.”
