This was a good challenge which tested our ability to enhance our images by processing them after capture. This extends the opportunity to be creative beyond the moment of initial composition. Of course, ‘enhancement’ is subjective – the activity is about producing images to please you, and it is a bonus if others enjoy them too.
You will see a variety of approaches to this with some people going for a more ‘painterly’ look – presumably encouraged by recent Club events which have demonstrated how powerful this can be – and others employing the power of Photoshop (or similar) in removing inconvenient objects.
The way this was done was to provide an original jpeg image straight out of the camera (OOC) and the processed image. The presentation is either as a diptych, where both photos are presented together, or as two separate images.
These are best viewed by stepping through the larger images – just click on one and then navigate using the right & left buttons, or click on the triangle in the top left corner of an images to start the slideshow.
