We offer you a warm welcome to any of our meetings.

Whatever you are interested in: colour or black & white, prints or slides, conventional or digital; you will find like-minded people who are willing to “compare notes”.

Age, sex and photographic experience are irrelevant – we can all share an appreciation of other people’s photographs.

Our programme is designed to provide as much practical assistance as is humanly possible.  We'll show you how use your camera, how to get the best out of your photographs by improving your camera technique and also in "post-processing".  Want to know how to mount your prints?  No problem, we'll show you how.

To get a flavour of our meetings, just click on the "Latest meeting" button.

To find out more, click the "Club activities" button.

You can view members' photos by clicking on "Gallery".

If you're looking for advice, help with techniques, or competition entry forms?
All of these and more can be found in our "Resources" area.

You won't regret coming to Bishopthorpe Camera Club - the club that responds to its members' needs.

Our next meeting will be on 24th February 2010,

our second Projected Image competition

when we might finally discover what "surrealism" means.
