Welcome to our new Bishopthorpe Camera Club “Blog”
*New 2013-14 programme published here*
We offer you a warm welcome to any of our meetings:
We meet fortnightly in the meeting room at Bishopthorpe Village Hall, although we use the main hall for our regular studio events and for occasional speakers that we encourage a wider audience to come to, such as the wildlife photographer Paul Hobson in November 2013. This coming year’s BCC Programme follows members’ interests of landscape, wildlife and architecture. The main theme is how to take better photos and there are a variety of presentations on using Adobe Lightroom for postprocessing.
To find out about our next Meeting; our next Cuppa and Capture; and reports of previous meetings please click on the “Events” tab.
You can contact us via the Contact Us Form or you can telephone the
Club Chairman – Graham Sheath – 01904 778552 or the
Club Treasurer – Roger Poyser – 01904 706164
Finally, an important “Thank You” to Roger Walton who has finally hung up his webmaster coat for the last time, but who has been responsible for creating and maintaining this site for many years. All the previous resources are on this new blog, but if you feel nostalgic, the old site can be accessed here. Many of our members came to us because of the old site, and hopefully many more will in the future with the new blog, with more people now contributing to it.
